Malaysia Red Card Introduction (MyPR)
The Malaysian Permanent Resident Card (Green Card) is a permanent identity card granted to foreigners by the Malaysian Government. Compared to the national blue ID card, this ID card is red, so it is also called the Malaysian Red ID Card (MYPR). The official name of the permanent identity card in Malaysia is: Malaysia MYPR. According to the Immigration Act 1959/63, any foreign citizen who is granted permanent resident status will obtain an entry permit and a red identity card (MYPR). Permanent resident status is unlimited and valid for life, and will be exempted from all visa requirements for entry and permanent residence in Malaysia.
Introduction and advantages of MyPR
PR is the English abbreviation of Permanent Resident, and Chinese means permanent resident too. To obtain PR means to obtain permanent resident status. Malaysian immigration is based on the Immigration Law 1959/63. Any foreign citizen who is granted permanent resident status will obtain an entry permit and permanent resident identity card.
The permanent resident ID card is red colour, so it is also called the Malaysian Red ID Card (MyPR). The official name of Malaysia is the Malaysian Red Card (MyPR).
The permanent resident identity card is valid for whole life, exempted from all entry visa requirements and entitle for permanent residence in Malaysia. A red card is equivalent to a Malaysian resident ID (similar to a US green card).

2. No major disability
3. No longer on the Malaysian government blacklist
4. Five categories of people who are not allowed to enter and exit the country
