Malaysian artist creates ink painting
On January 14th, the China Cultural Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia held the celebration of the third anniversary of the center's establishment. Malaysians welcome the upcoming Chinese New Year with the fragrance of ink, drama and music.
The Chinese Cultural Center is decorated with lanterns and festoons, creating a festive and peaceful atmosphere. In the Spring Festival folk culture experience area, folk artists, artists and local people from China and Malaysia wrote Spring Festival couplets, painted blessing characters, cut window grilles, kneaded dough figurines, expanded New Year pictures, tasted tea, painted ink paintings, and made rattles. Every booth was crowded with spectators, who had a great time learning under the hands-on guidance of the teacher.
The Jinyulouchun Chaozhou Puppet Troupe in Penang, Malaysia performed traditional plays such as "Peach Blossom Transition" and "The Capital Meeting". The wonderful performances won applause from the audience.
In the melody of "Golden Snake Dance" and "Joyful", the special concert "Jade Rabbit Welcomes Spring" kicked off. Young Malaysian performers used guzheng, erhu and other instruments to perform more than ten well-known Chinese and Malaysian songs, sending New Year blessings to the audience.
Yan Tianlu, vice president of the Malaysian Chinese Public Relations Association, said that the people-to-people exchanges and traditional friendship between Malaysia and China have lasted for thousands of years.
