"Paper Health Code" exposed! Clear customs with one paper
The Guangdong - Hong Kong Mutual Recognition Health Code will be released soon, and 14 government-approved private hospitals and laboratory centers are ready. Some private hospitals are conducting internal testing procedures and are preparing to fill out reports for customers to declare health codes. Ta Kung Pao exclusively obtains a sample of "paper health codes". In addition, some private hospitals and medical groups have launched new Coronavirus testing health code packages, and even launched a throat cut war. The medical group launched a 950 dollars testing package, which is nearly 70% cheaper than private hospitals that provide one-stop services.
"Paper Health Code" is like a certificate letter, showing that the test result of the holder is negative, and detailed personal information and expiry date.
The Hong Kong Health Code is a two-dimensional code with a validity period of seven days. It is stored on a smart phone so that the public can recognize each other and be exempt from quarantine when crossing customs. It is understood that the health code only accepts virus test results issued by recognized medical institutions. If the test result is negative, the public can download their own health code on the smart phone from the Department of Health website. If you do not have a smart phone (such as the elderly or children), you can obtain the "paper health code" from the testing medical institution.
According to the "Paper Health Code" template provided by the Baptist Hospital, the content is in both Chinese and English, listing the name of the tester, the number of the home visit permit and other certificate numbers, the method of sampling, the laboratory number, the date of collection, and the expiry date. And the signature of the chemist; at the same time, the "paper health code" must show that the test result is negative to pass the customs. In addition, the Baptist Hospital also attached a health certificate letter to cross-border people for filing.
In addition to paperwork, private hospitals and medical groups have to face price competition. Seven private hospitals approved by the government provide one-stop services, with fees ranging from more than 1,000 to more than 3,000 dollars. Ta Kung Pao reporters used websites and telephone inquiries to understand and summarize the charges, time and testing status of the seven private hospitals.
