Foreigners apply for a Canadian tourist visa (online application)

Required documents

1．Fill in the forms: 5257 (application form), 5707 (family information form)

2. Original passport copy (when you go to the certificate processing center to print a fingerprint, the original passport should stay in the certificate processing center for 7-10 working days until the visa is issued)

3. Copy of Hong Kong identity card (if not, provide national identity card)

4. Proof of economic support (eg, proof of funds, half-year bank statement (available worldwide)

(Children under 14 years of age do not need fingerprint verification, provide proof of relationship with parents: such as birth certificate)

4. Simply write: travel purpose, itinerary, etc.

5. Copy of marriage certificate
6.2 photos（size：35X45cm)

** Original documents required for fingerprint collection in person: passport, Hong Kong identity card, financial support certificate, marriage certificate, photo, birth certificate, payment receipt

Application process

Apply online, with a clear scan of all documents and a valid credit or debit card.

1. Register for a GCKey account

2. Login to GCKey account, fill in the application form, and upload the required documents

3. Payment of fees (print receipt)

4. Submit your application

Application fee

The basic amount of visa applicant (per person): visa fee of CAD 100 + fingerprint fee of CAD 85 = HKD 1100,

Visa and fingerprint fees must be paid in advance online (pay by credit or debit card)

Application time

After the online application is reviewed, the email will be notified to the visa center for fingerprint collection.

After the appointment time for fingerprint collection, a visa can be issued within 7-10 working days

To make a fingerprint appointment, please provide the following information:

1. Which city's visa center to book

2. Name of applicant

Date of birth

Phone number

5. Email

6. Please provide 2-3 dates and time periods you want to make an appointment (if not provided, it will be regarded as the earliest time to make an appointment)

Can fill in form 5476 Client / Company Pickup

Visa valid period

Depending on the limited period of the applicant's passport, the maximum time is generally 10 years
