Puerta del Sol

Puerta del Sol is located in the center of Madrid, in a semicircular shape, with 10 streets extending radially outwards. It is the center of political activities and business in Madrid. It is a historic square and a place that reflects the customs of Madrid.

The Security Bureau Building is a prominent building in the square. It is a neoclassical palace-style building at the end of the 18th century. After its completion, it served as the central post office, army command and political department of Madrid.
