Perdue Hill
Pyrenees-Mt. Perdue is the largest mountain range in southwestern Europe. It is located at the junction of France and Spain and is an extension of the Alps to the southwest. It starts from the Bay of Biscay in the Atlantic Ocean in the west and ends in the Gulf of Leon in the Mediterranean Sea in the east. It is 435 kilometers long, generally 80-140 kilometers wide, only 10 kilometers wide in the east, and 160 kilometers wide in the middle. Divided into 3 sections according to natural features: Western Pyrenees, from the Sombert Pass on the Bay of Biscay; Central Pyrenees, from Sombert Pass to the upper valley of the Garonne; Eastern Pyrenees Mountain, from the upper reaches of the Garonne River to the south of the Bay of Lion, also known as the Mediterranean Pyrenees.
