Kuala Lumpur Tower (Malay: Menara Kuala Lumpur, English: Kuala Lumpur Tower) is a tall tower located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with a height of 421 meters (1381 feet). When it was completed in 1995, it was the fourth tallest tower in the world at that time, ranking fifth.
The Kuala Lumpur Tower is located on Bukit Nanas (Bukit Nanas) in the downtown area of Kuala Lumpur. Its height is 421 meters, which is breathtaking and can be called the symbol of Kuala Lumpur. The surface of the tower is vertical arch ribs, and the tower weighs 100,000 metric tons. There is no piling for the base of the tower, but a piece of independent land is directly used. The Kuala Lumpur Tower can be said to be the tallest tower in Southeast Asia and the fourth tallest communication tower in the world. The construction of the tower took 4 years and was completed in April 1996. Its wind-resistant structure is strong enough to withstand a wind speed of 90 miles per hour. It is a member of the World Federation of Great Towers and one of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur.
