[COVID-19] "Thank you, Brother Xi," Serbian huge advertisement thanking China for its assistance

In March, China sent medical experts to The Balkan country of Serbia to assist in the response to the COVID-19 outbreak, which was cordially received by Serbia a huge AD appeared on the streets of Belgrade, "Thank you, Brother Xi" write in Both Serbian and Chinese, thanking China for its assistance.

A six-member Chinese anti-epidemic medical expert team arrived in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, on March 21.  A batch of medical supplies donated by the Chinese government arrived on the same plane.  Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and cabinet members greeted them at the airport and welcomed them with a "red carpet" ceremony.

Vucic "bumped elbows" with members of the expert team and kissed the Serbian and Chinese flags.  In his speech, Vucic said that for Serbia, the Chinese expert team and medical supplies are "extremely important" and can "save lives."   He described China showing friendship at the most difficult moment in Serbia.

China's assistance has received a positive response in Serbia.  Recently, a huge advertisement appeared on the streets of Belgrade, with the Chinese flag as the background, accompanied by a photo of Chinese President Xi Jinping, with the words "Thank you, Brother Xi", thanking China for its assistance.

Serbia began to isolate patients with mild symptoms according to China's recommendations and deployed the army to build temporary hospitals for patients with mild symptoms.  Reuters quoted a Serbian official as saying that the government welcomes China’s contribution, "We change our approach, and with the support of Chinese experts, we conduct more extensive tests."  He also pointed out that Serbia has adopted the Chinese model and tried its best to reach out and treat as may patients as possible.
