Transportation in Lucia
Air traffic
St. Lucia has two airports, one in the south, Hewannora international airport, which carries long-haul international flights;The other is the Gorge FL Charies airport in the northern capital, which carries short-haul flights to neighbouring countries.
Road traffic
The St. Lucia highway encircled the island by the coast and mountain terrain.The road has many narrow curves, mainly two-way single lane, driving on the left.
St. Lucia recognizes Chinese driver's licenses.Holders holding a valid driver's license may renew a valid temporary driver's license for three months or a valid driver's license for one year after obtaining a local residence permit.
Waterway transportation

The main city
Castries is the capital and main port of st. Paul, located on the northwest coast of st. Paul. It covers an area of 79 square kilometers and has a population of 65,000 (2010).The port of the city is a famous natural harbor in the west Indies, which can be used for large sea-going ships with a draft of 12 meters.
Vieux fort, the second largest city of saint Lucia, was founded in the 17th century and was once the capital of saint Lucia.It has the only international airport and deep water port, and is also an important import and export port for tourism and goods.
