Valletta
Valletta is the capital and largest port of the Republic of Malta, located in the Eastern Harbor District (Southern Harbor District) in the east of the island of Malta, covering an area of 0.8 square kilometers, close to Sicily. In 1566, the Knights of St. John established the ancient city of Valletta and began its rule of about two and a half centuries. The ancient city of Valletta has 320 historical relics and is one of the most concentrated historical and cultural areas in the world. It was selected into the "World Heritage List" in 1980.
