Scenic Point
Bosphorus Strait
The Bosporus Strait is the dividing line between Asia and Europe, connecting the Marmara Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea, and is also an important traffic route linking Europe and Asia. When traveling by boat, one minute you are still in Asia, and the next minute you are in Europe. It is a very wonderful geographical switch.
The deep blue water is undulating, and ships of all sizes are moored or shuttled among them. Under the blue sky, seagulls fly on the sea. The Galata Bridge spans both sides. On the upper level of the bridge are calm fishermen, and under the bridge are restaurants and coffee houses.
Here, you must take a cruise ship to better appreciate the scenery on both sides of the strait. No city can hold a strait like Istanbul. Sailing here, you can have an overview of the mosques and palaces on both sides of the strait, and you can also cross the bridge, overlook the city scenery from a distance, and see the sea and sky up close. The seabirds are flying, the sea breeze is in your ears, and the waves are surging. It is definitely a kind of enjoyment.
