The Republic of Turkey (Turkish: Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, English: The Republic of Turkey), referred to as Turkey, is a country across Eurasia, bordering the Black Sea to the north, the Mediterranean to the south, bordering Syria and Iraq to the southeast, and the Aegean Sea to the west. , Borders Greece and Bulgaria, and borders Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Iran in the east.
