the Last Units in the Final Phase

PROGRESS ON THE FINAL PHASE KIAWAH BUILDING FORGING AHEAD

We are extremely pleased to report that considering the ongoing challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, construction work on the Kiawah building, the final phase at the award winning Kimpton Kawana Bay project, is progressing very well. The foundations are now complete and the first floor slabs are currently being cast. 

The beachfront Matura building is nearing practical completion with over 140 construction workers on site daily. Units are being finished, the grand entrance Porte Cochère is complete and teams are busy finishing the paintwork on the building’s exterior. The Prime Minister of Grenada, who was recently on site, commended the progress of the project, calling Kimpton Kawana Bay an important project for the country’s tourism revival.

In Q1 and Q2 of 2020, Kimpton Kawana Bay accounted for 57% of all Grenada section 11 (real estate) CBI applications, making it the leading CBI project in Grenada.

Prime Minister of Grenada Impressed with Kimpton Kawana Bay Progress

The Kimpton Kawana Bay team recently hosted the Prime Minister of Grenada, Dr. the Right Honourable Keith Mitchell for a site visit. Witnessing the construction of the final phase building, the Prime Minister commended the project for its impressive progress and positive contribution to the country particularly in the context of the addition hurdles which continue to exist with mandatory Covid-19 protocols. We look forward to the end product – the completion of construction and the formal opening in 2022.
