TO ALL LICENSED AGENTS
RE: PASSPORT APPLICATIONS
We are seeking to improve the CIP passport processing service currently being offered by the Unit. In order to enhance this service, effective immediately all Licensed Agents are required to include duly completed passport application forms for each person presented in the citizenship by investment application on first submission.
When completing the passport applications it is important to note the following:
If a mistake is made on the form, cross out the mistake, initial and continue. Correction fluid is not permitted.
Section 1 – The height is to be recorded in feet and inches or centimeters (not in decimal form).
Section 9 – This section is to be completed by all agents.
Section 11 – A parent or court appointed guardian must complete and sign this section if the applicant is under the age of 18.
Section 12 – For applicants under the age of 18, this section should be completed by either parent.
Section 13 – To be completed by applicants over the age of 12. Please note that the applicant’s signature must not touch the sides of the box.
Photos – Please ensure compliance with the following requirements:
One of the photos submitted must be certified by the Licensed Agent.
The image must be a full frontal view of head and shoulders without spectacles.
A neutral facial expression must be used (teeth must not be exposed).
A plain white background must be used and the photo must be printed on internationally accepted glossy photo paper.
Applicants should avoid wearing white clothing.
