Transportation
The high-speed rail and Taiwan Railway of Taiwan's round-island railway network are closely connected to cities of all sizes, with prices close to the people, frequent departures, and fast and convenient access.
If you are planning to live in a city with a MRT (subway) such as Taipei, I really don't recommend buying a car. Because the public transportation here is very convenient and accessible.
The MRT system is continuously expanding, taking Taipei as a column. The early MRT from Taoyuan to Taipei has been opened in 2017. It only takes 35 minutes from Taoyuan Airport to Taipei Station, and the fare is NT $ 160. The lines will be opened to traffic one after another.
It is also very convenient and cheap to take a bus (bus). The fare is adult NTD15 student NTD12 child NTD8 elderly discount NTD2 (per ticket).
Regardless of any means of transportation, the seat-taking culture and the spirit of respect for the old and the young often make people feel warm!
