Scenic point
Espiritu Santo
Espiritu Santo (Espiritu Santo) is located in Sanma Province, about 2,500 kilometers northeast of Sydney, Australia. It is known as the capital of nature and adventure. During World War II, one of the main military bases of the US military was stationed there. The barracks and places for soldiers to entertain at night can still be seen on the island, and the wreckage of crashed fighter jets can even be found. Now, there are more than 20 confirmed underwater ruins, including the presidential luxury cruise ship.
The western half of the island is an undeveloped virgin forest, and the Champagne Beach in the east is famous all over the world. The origin of this romantic name is said to be that the water rising from the depths of the sea mixed with the sea water, interlaced with light and shadow in the sun, is as beautiful as champagne. The dazzling white beach, which complements the emerald water surface, is known as the most beautiful beach in the South Pacific. Except for the turquoise sea water, it is not inferior to any island country's pure white sandy beach. She is also a place of primitive and natural secrets. Compared with the usual resort islands, Vanuatu has more profound cultural charm.
