Pirin National Park
Pirin National Park is located in the Pirin Mountains in southwestern Bulgaria, covering an area of 27,40 hectares with an altitude between 1,008 and 2,914 meters. Pirin National Park is a lime Balkan landscape with lakes, waterfalls, caves and pine forests. About 70 glacier pools are distributed among the high mountains, where hundreds of rare local species live, many of which are typical representatives of plants in the Pleistocene period of the Balkans. In addition, the peaks in Li have their own characteristics and have extremely high aesthetic value.
