The Alishan National Scenic Area

（I） Jurisdiction

The Alishan National Scenic Area adheres to the development of ecological protection and low-level development, and conducts marketing promotion with characteristic tourism industries and in-depth diversified tours. The goal is to achieve the coexistence of nature and tourism, and the prosperity of industry and tourists. The area is located in the eastern hills of Chiayi County and the middle and high altitude mountains in the east, adjacent to the Yushan Mountains of Nantou County in the east, the Caoling District of Yunlin County in the north, Chiayi City in the west, and Namaxia District of Kaohsiung City in the south. The scope includes Meishan in Chiayi County , Zhuqi, Fanlu and Alishan, with a total area of 41,520 hectares.

Improve the quality of Alishan's overall tourism environment and build Alishan as a "safe, happy, ecological and sustainable international tourist resort".

Shaping Alishan's brand-new entrance image, creating a Taiwan 18-line tourist corridor, diverting and connecting the Zou culture, northwest corridors and other recreational system attractions, extending the length of stay of tourists.

Integrate the ecology, culture and industry of Da Alishan, develop diversified experiential tours and exquisite tourism services, enhance the effectiveness of tourism, and combine the surrounding cross-region attractions to attract more international tourists and drive the tourism and tourism boom.
